The Three Ps didn’t come to me in the middle of the night. It was something that I had pondered on from the moment I found out I was pregnant; which was during the third year of a committed relationship and having just been proposed to.

For women or birthing parents, our lives change when we figure out we are carrying life. For fathers or non-birthing parents, this typically comes once the child is born. This particular nuance made me realize there aren’t any up-to-date guides on navigating romantic partnership, pregnancy or parenting. Not to say that there aren’t gems that outlast generations or current resources—I saw a huge gap, collectively, in what we’ve relied on for decades versus what actually happens in real life.

Ultimately, I envision a space where real challenges are shared, talked about and recorded. There is not a one-size-fits-all approach to anything in life. We all exist on a spectrum that continues to evolve; therefore our curriculum and it’s teachers should follow suit.

The goal of The Three Ps to provide extreme transparency and resources around what really happens behind the appearances we’ve been taught to keep up during some of the most pivotal transitions of our lives.
